David Pastor - Camins Dispars (2019)

No matter how much the free purists berreen, the use of the term "avant-garde" today makes more sense than ever with proposals such as those of the album "Camins Dispar" (Omix, 2011), in which the rhythm and melody are clearly bet completely disregarding the most minimal harmonic umbrella and with a formation more typical of the so-called free improvisation: a trumpet and a drums. The art of evocation, of daring, of the necessary provocation, of lyricism, of the beauty of empty space is in the hands of two musicians with extensive experience in adventures of all kinds.
