Quazar - Quazar (1978) [Remastered 2012]

Quazar was formed by ex Parliament/ Funkadelic member Glenn Goins. This, their only album from 1978 is pure P Funk. Cuts like ‘Funk N Roll’, ‘Funk With A Capital G’ and the catchy ‘Workin On The Buildin’ reflect that style Funk at its peak. The mellow tracks such as ‘Your Lovin Is Easy’ and ‘Love Me Baby’ add a counter to the heaviness of the Funk. ‘Shades Of Quaze’ is strong instrumental groove. Goins died during the making of the album this is a fitting epitaph.
