Alex Sipiagin - Nofo Skies (2019)

NoFo Skies is the latest work of New York-based Russian jazz trumpeter Alex Sipiagin, who is no stranger to the international as well as New York jazz scene, having had several critically-acclaimed albums under his belt, and as guest artiste for many others. The album contains his newest original compositions inspired mostly by the North Fork of Long Island New York, and he is once again partnered by long-time collaborators and jazz heavyweights Chris Potter, Will Vinson, Eric Harland, John Escreet and Matt Brewer. Upcoming singer-songwriter Alina Engibaryan also features heavily in the album, having contributed both lyrics and vocals, as well as one original composition. NoFo Skies is produced by Blue Room Music, a New York-based independent music label.
