Paulina Fuentes - Dragón (2014/2019)

DRAGÓN is the first solo album by Paulina Fuentes. It consists of ten songs of his authorship and the production and musical direction were carried out by the renowned singer, composer and arranger Iraida Noriega. Together, they manage to mix the harmony of jazz and the freshness of folk. To record this album and accompany the singer, met a brilliant team of musicians from the jazz scene Mexican: Carlos Sustaita on piano and rhodes; Juanjo López on guitars; Israel Cupich on the double bass; Jorge Servín and Gustavo Nandayapa on drums; Ruben Limas on the electric bass and Tania Guzmán and Iraida Noriega on the choirs. The result is music that, in spite of its complexity, is solved in simple sonorities and in a balance between melancholy and encounter.
