Hot 8 Brass Band - Take Cover (2019)

Out February 22nd, Grammy-nominated Hot 8 Brass Band "Take Cover" as they bring their iconic hip hop and brass grooves to classic tracks from Joy Division, Michael Jackson, George Benson and The Jacksons. This EP features recent single "Give Me The Night" & "Love Will Tear Us Apart" This EP features recent single "Love Will Tear Us Apart" - which received support from Rolling Stone, Songlines, John Kennedy (Radio X), Craig Charles (BBC Radio 2 and 6 Music), Ed Adoo (BBC 5Live), Gilles Peterson (BBC 6Music) and Lauren Garnier (Worldwide FM) - and new track "Give Me The Night". Having been announced to perform as part of Jools Holland's New Year's Eve Hootenanny, alongside the likes of Nile Rodgers & Chic, Rudimental, Michael Buble, Yola and George Erza, and with a live session for Lauren Laverne (BBC 6 Music) at Maida Vale (BBC 6Music) happening on Friday 14th December, Hot 8 are seeing out the year with their signature party spirit. The release of "Take Cover EP" aligns with the band's 2019 European "Take Cover Tour" which kicks off on 25th January.
