We are starting our 2019 musical adventure with something different from usual. During our search for new and exciting things, we have reached darker and weirder regions of electronic music to find out about the french-canadian IDM artist under the alias Le Perche Oreille, whose style is a perfectly-crafted pandora box: once you open it, the elaborate havoc approaches you from the depths of it, as intended by the creator of the box.

Confusing track names, abuse of poly- and exponential rhythms, choppy breaks, fast bpms, odd time signatures, glitches, audio manipulations, fuzzy resonant synths, beautiful and lush melodies and all other maniacally-made details were gathered tight into one album that is Obsessive Lacework. These are the dark lands you are about to approach with this release. No words needed, as speaking in these lands is not required, just sit down, pay careful attention and listen to this multi-layered work that can be metaphorically described as "the gem that sank in the Canadian waters of Montreal River, the only way to get it is to dive deep into the river", the album worth of legacy of the man named after the... snare drums, of the beautiful Italian city, the man of the hungarian dawn, of the "Hajnal".
