Lucy Zirins - Unfound (2019)

The 11-track album departs from the previous paired back and ‘live’ sounding production of Lucy’s previous albums and catapults the listener in to a new exciting soundscape, with production duties placed with Ealing based Jim Knight of Knight Time Studios. The pair spent a year between various other projects creating the record and bringing each song to life as its’ own standalone piece of art. Both Jim and Lucy played almost every instrument on the record, including Lucy’s first foray in to electric guitar and bass playing on an album. The experience really helped her to challenge her perception of what she could do as a musician and broaden her own vision of the artist she could be. “I really feel like Jim challenged me to move the songs in to new places”, says Lucy. “This was the goal with the record and I’m really proud of what we have achieved”.
