Michelle David - The Gospel Sessions Vol. 3 (2018)

Onno Smit & Paul Willemsen searched for the origin of their beloved genres and came out at Gospel as interpreted by, for example, Sister Rosetta Tharpe. This inspired them to make the first album where the songs were stripped until the essential remained. It turned out to be Michelle David. Michelle David & The Gospel Sessions sound more versatile than ever on this now third album. For Michelle David, it is also the most personal album. "Music that feeds the heart and soothes the soul", says Michelle David to the question what Gospel means to her. With this album the band is ready to conquer the rest of the world. Last year, the first steps were carefully taken with performances in London and various shows in Belgium (including Deep in the Woods festival) and everywhere they played they saw the same reaction to the audience. There was dancing, cheering and people were connected by the message of Love. "And that's what we want to do all over the globe" Michelle David calls. "World, get ready to be GOSPELIZED".
