Noises Off is the follow up to Music From Somewhere On The Spectrum and the second in the Modularism series. This collection places greater focus on the use of modular instruments in creating the music. A continued journey into uncovering more remarkable practitioners, it was the aim from conception to showcase the diverse spectrum of modular music out there, and the unending creative approaches of modular users.
Fifty years ago a new way to make sound by manipulating electricity was devised. Modular doesn't really have a sound of its own, it is basically a blank canvas on which you can create sound from scratch - Electricity manipulated by a machine synthesiser.
