This is a remarkable proposition: almost 6 hours of the wonderful music of this unique modern composer, for an irresistible price. So far, the performances are good, yet you may want to explore other recordings later - since CDs with only a fraction of Gubaidulina's work will cost a multiple of this big collection, this is truly a remarkable way to discover her music. I knew a few of her compositions, such as Offertorium, and it is fun to discover many more gems. And these are indeed gems, sensual, mysterious music unlike anything you have heard before. Not really difficult music, but you need to listen with attention, this will not work well as background music. Enjoy!
