Loco Zydeco is a 6 person, high energy, Canadian Zydeco band, based in Toronto, Ontario. Winning over enthusiastic crowds with an energetic blend of contemporary and traditional Zydeco, LZ has created a unique take on Louisiana's most exciting musical export, in all it's toe-tapping, hip-shaking glory.
LZ's first two albums, "Yeah, you right, eh!" (released independently in the fall of 2003,) and "This Great White North, Eh!" (released by flamingcheese records in the fall of 2006,) have enjoyed commercial, community and college radio play across North America. LZ’s third album, "Time To Turn The Key," was released by flamingcheese records in October 2008, and has enjoyed both North American & European airplay. Their latest album, “Loco Zydeco” was released in November, 2016, by Squirrel Head Music.
