Taleen Kali - Soul Songs (2018)

Soul Songs is Taleen Kali’s debut solo album, featuring 5 songs about transformation and transcendence, with the hope to bring sonic healing to anyone who experiences it.
Expanding her sonic palette considerably in her 2nd recording project, Taleen Kali’s record features an array of synths, guitar pedals from Death By Audio, and sound healing instruments such as Meinl angel tuning forks and singing bowls, which she began exploring in her Kali Punk Yoga practice.

Recorded at the legendary Sunset Sound studios in Hollywood, Taleen Kali teamed up with producer Kristin Kontrol (fka Dum Dum Girls) and longtime musical mentor Brad Laner (Medicine) who mixed the record. Taleen also brought on her longtime bassist Miles Marsico (TÜLIPS, New Technology) and drummer Rhys Hastings (Gothic Tropic) for the project.
