"The music I put out is extremely dear to my heart because they tell stories about my life, experiences, and emotions. Working on this album changed my relationship with every song because I'm so used to a full-production single, with a full band and all the bells and whistles that come with a studio recording. This entire piece, however, makes me feel extremely vulnerable to the listener and though it's a bit scary, it's also something that I am very excited to share. I'm not ashamed to bare it all because...hello, it me. I hope my listeners feel like they've become closer to me, after listening to its entirety."
