Australians WHITE WIDDOW, fronted by Jules Millis (ex TIGERTAILZ), celebrate their tenth anniversary these days and put out album number five already. Their very own AOR is even more pompous, melodic and catching than all the earlier releases which without exception were strong, too. Sticky sweet keyboards accompany mighty choruses and strong vocals all over the place. “Victory“ contains ten anthems („America“) which put a broad smile into the face of every single fan of SURVIVOR, WHITE SISTER or GIUFFRIA. “Second Hand Heart“ or “Late Nite Liasion“ are nothing but examples of how great this record is. As long as bands like WHITE WIDDOW are active, nobody needs to be afraid of the genre coming to an end.
