On June 29, Rhino released CHICAGO II: LIVE ON SOUNDSTAGE, a 2017 performance by Chicago at the studios of WTTW-TV in – where else? – Chicago, and when we released it, we did so digitally as well on CD and as a CD/DVD combo. Tomorrow, however, we’re releasing it in yet another version, and it’s definitely going to be a must-own for the band’s fans.
CHICAGO II: COLLECTOR’S EDITION includes the aforementioned CD/DVD combo, but to utilize the phrase that’s the pitchman’s best friend, that’s not all! You also get the original CHICAGO II album remixed by producer Steve Wilson, and – better yet – you get it both on CD as well as on vinyl. Yes, the vinyl version is spread across two LPs, but that shouldn’t surprise the old-school fans, since it’s always been a double album.
