This 2 CD set, a collection of 27 tracks, features Mark "Muddyharp" Hodgson and guest artist Noble "Thin Man" Watts in a somewhat autobiographical expose, including some discovery-of-the-blues tunes, road songs, some paeans to blues heroes and just a whole mess of blues inspired by the Mississippi Delta and the tobacco-rich Piedmont area of the southern Atlantic Coast. The first CD is acoustic and studio produced. The second is an energy filled live and studio performed CD with various band members. With his bandoleer of harmonicas, Hodgson proceeds to take the listener on a tour of the Delta to the Piedmont. Hodgson's vast range of talent includes harmonica, guitar and vocals in a very unique way while still paying attention to tradition.

In the spirit of his ancestors, this modern day troubadour of the blues has studied, played and created music professionally since he was 17. His dynamic, versatile performances appeal to a wide variety of music listeners. Muddyharp has performed as Mark Hodgson all over the world and opened for many of the top blues artists from Kenny Wayne Shepard to BB King. His concerts are history lessons of the blues as he combines his energetic music performances and story telling in a way that keeps his audiences coming back again and again. Mark performs both acoustically and electronically with masterful expertise. He is one of the most talented finger guitarists playing today and has been rated one of the top five harmonica players in the world.
