Mike Chapman - Heartaches & Hangovers (2018)

All of these songs were recorded the same day they were written. Some days I only had 45 mins before work to write and record and those songs are I Wanna Be Your Saturday Night and Cracks. very raw and minimalistic. Other songs such as White Lies and Alibis and Old Devil Blues I was able to spend 15 hours working on them on a day off. The point of this project was to not second guess myself and try to capture that initial first kiss. It might not always be a perfect kiss but there is something special about it.
