VA - Heads Records: South African Disco Dub Edits (2018) Lossless

Hot off the heels of the recent Gumba Fire compilation, Soundway selects more sure-fire disco burners: with a 4-track, dancefloor-orientated EP drawing from the short-lived Heads label out of South Africa.

Gumba Fire, compiled by DJ Okapi and Soundway label founder Miles Cleret, already looks to match its 2016 sister release Doing It In Lagos, garnering significant interest from the DJ and music community.

Here, Starlight's original track "Picnic" (a single whose B side "Picnicing", featured on Gumba Fire) joins edits by New York's JKriv (Deep & Disco Recordings / Razor-N-Tape) and Frankie Francis (Sofrito Sound), whose magic touch on last year's edit of Steve Monite "Only You" was one of Soundway's most popular releases of 2017.
