An evolutionary sonic shamanic healing journey for all types of healing work, from meditation to shamanism and yoga to breath work.
Dedicated to all my friends on the path and all those who supported this project which started end of 2015 in Ubud Bali and traveled round the earth, adding voices and sounds to this Sound Spirit.... From the bamboo groves in the foothills of Taiwan, where I met Taoist Master Winson Liao who calls the Ancient Spirit of the Bamboo with his magnificent flute playing, to the always sweet collaborations with my brother Darpan and soul sister Ajeet Kaur, the healing sessions with Tibetan bowls with Amanda Ling, to singing Ikaros with the Shipibo grandmothers in the Amazonian rain forest - All these energies are in this music.
Whilst immersing in Amazonian shamanism, I found that my background in meditation, is of utter importance in this particular type of healing work. For it is the recognition of inner silence, and the power of light within our own soul, our compassion and transparency of intent, our willingness to witness and shred our own egoic patterns that is the True Healer after all.
The Way of the Medicine Buddha in the Buddhist tradition is the path of Healing through Meditation.
In Shipibo Shamanism, an apprentice learns by immersing himself in prolonged diets of certain 'Master plants' - it is these plants that carry spirit, intelligence and transforming properties. It is the the plants that show their wisdom and messages in the dreams and visions of the apprentice, and this is being expressed in melodies called Ikaros - Finally, the apprentice receives a so called 'ARKANA', a strong metaphysical body of protection lines around him, that connects him forever to the spirit world, and that protects him and the people who he works with.
The MEDICINE BUDDHA ARKANA is sonic support to tap into the Light Within, an Enlightened Being never looses faith and can never be overtaken by darkness. This Light is so bright, it is the Light of creation and the Light of Compassion. It is Knowing that the world is but a dream, that everything comes and goes, and therefore it is This moment that holds all the keys to Truth, Compassion and all the answers are already here, now, when we are truly Present.
May this music be an anchor of protection, may the sonic vibrations be of healing service to all who are exposed to this music from the beyond - May it be a support for all practice, meditation and ceremony.
