Michael Wookey performs perfectly eccentric melancholic songs, ranging from blues stomps with just voice and feet, to Game Boy-tinged electronica. It's hard to put it in to words, but his voice is what binds it all together. He is generally alone on stage with his banjo, chains, toy piano and sampler, and sometimes accompanied by The Toy Orchestra.

Michael Wookey est un auteur, compositeur et performer anglais installé à Paris depuis 5 ans. Il allie à la perfection l'excentrique et le mélancolique dans ses chansons passant du blues à l'électro pop, sa voix en dénominateur commun.
Il se produit égelement en solo avec son banjo, chaînes, toy piano et des engins électroniques qui modifient sa voix, lui donnant une teinte electronica vintage.
