Mark Bishop - Seasons (2017)

Singing for seventeen years on the road with The Bishops, followed by a solo career almost as long, Mark Bishop is one of the best-known and most-loved singer-songwriters in Southern Gospel music. His newest release is "Seasons," a CD that features a "Best Of" collection of Mark's most requested songs, as well as two new songs recorded specifically for this album.

Mark says, "Here are a few of my most requested songs through the years. Some are old; some are new. Some tell stories; some express thankfulness. All are from the center of my heart. Thank you for walk down the old dirt road with me." These songs include "My Name Is Jesus," which features guests Lauren Talley, Ivan Parker and Mitchel Jon, "Can I Pray For You," "You Can't Ask Too Much Of My God" and more.

The two new songs on this recording are entitled "That's When It's Time To Pray" and "The Other Room." The former is described as "a very timely song that gets in your head and your feet." "The Other Room" is noted as "a stirring ballad that will encourage everyone who has had to say goodbye to a loved one. In Jesus Christ, we have hope of being reunited in The Other Room.'"
