The LOX - Filthy America…It’s Beautiful (2016)

Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch, better known as New York hip-hop trio The Lox, are back with their first album in 16 years. It’s a smooth pairing of late-‘90s flows and rhythms with a slightly more current cast, including Fetty Wap, Mobb Deep, and Gucci Mane. The latter guests on the standout track “Secure the Bag,” which opens with some cheeky motivation courtesy of DJ Khaled. “Money right, they glad that it’s pure,” Jadakiss raps. “Nothing else matters as long as the bag is secure.”
