Gini and Kati, the two former voices of Blutengel have launched their own project with Tristesse De La Lune. After several single releases with A Heart Whose, Love Is Innocent is now finally presenting their first long-player. And to make it straight forward: the two front Graces can not meet the high expectations. Although the twelve compositions of A Heart Whose Love Is Innocent have not been bad, the current flood of publications is by no means beyond mediocrity.

The songs are very nice, but they can not set any accents. Also, Gini and Kati seem to be more like foreign objects on some tracks and do not match the dance-compatible rhythms and hard grooves with their sweet and sweet voices. Only the more melancholic numbers or the opener "Coriolis", who lives by whispering chants, give the two ladies a good figure. All in all, an album looks at both light and shadow. In this case, self-listening and self-opinion form. --Armin Schäfer
