With the exception of a few smaller live gigs, it has been relatively quiet from the mysterious folk pop band Twiggy Frostbite for almost three years now. The members have meanwhile been busy with other projects that has taken up a lot of time. Then earlier this year in the spring we got a first sign of life when the band released their single 'Seashore' and announced a summer tour of China, Japan and Hong Kong. Since then the band has been active with the final touches of their new album TWF, and now we get another taste of it with their new single Ahai and a very beautiful video directed by talented Johan Stolpe. Twiggy Frostbite debuted six years ago with the release of their album Through Fire. Their dreamy folk pop received praise from a breoad spectrum of media, both in their home country Sweden and internationally where the likes of The Sunday Times, NME, Uncut, Clash and Vice Magazine all gave them good reviews. They also got quite a lot of radio, played live and where ’band of the week’ on BBC Radio 2 och rotated a lot on national Swedish radio P3 with the single 'Heroes'. Since then the trio Elin Lindfors (The Deer Tracks), Anna-Karin Berglund and Emma Sjöberg have taken on a fourth member in Sofia Stolpe, and really got the fire back and found a format that they can build their beautiful melodies around.
