Amrakus - A Space Rock Opera (1982)

"Chronicle of the starship TRINITY in the year 2099,our planet Earth faces a crisis of devastating proportions. After decades of horrid abuse to the environment, including a series of nuclear wars, the world's fresh water supply has all but dwindled away. Water exists, to be sure , but has become so radioactive that any contact with it means a painfull ugly death. Still a solution exists...TRIGONEN !

A recently discovered element, Trigonen has the capability to actually reverse the water's radioactivity and in so doing, completely purifying it. But Trigonen is so extremely rare here that Earth's entire known deposits were used during initial lab experimentation. Our story would end here, but fortunately vast amounts of the ore from wich Trigonen is derived have been discovered on the planet Amrakus, twelve light years away.

And so, a specially designed spacecraft, the starship TRINITY has been commissioned to proceed to Amrakus and bring the Trigonen home. On this journey are the TRINITY's pilot, Capt. Alonzo Bliss, Earth's Ambassador to Amrakus: Morris Flemm, Science Officer Adolph Klaus, the ship physician, Dr. Howard Hartogs, the beautiful clairvoyant ,Brandy Rose and last but not least, Walter, the ship's navigating computer. Together, they have set out on this adventure of unparalled dimensions...."
